Soul Mirror Oracle

Healing through divine reflection.

The Soul Mirror Oracle serves as a potent instrument for healing, mirroring your internal landscape in the context of the external world. It brings to light elements rooted in fear, instigated by external factors, offering them up for healing and recognition within your inner self. This transformative process works to convert fear back into love, cultivating a space that promotes personal growth, healing, and self-empowerment.

This oracle deck is rooted in the profound belief that we are the architects of our own realities and active participants in shaping our collective existence. While we might not always have control over the events life presents to us, we undeniably possess the ability to determine our responses and derive valuable lessons from these experiences. This in itself shapes our interpretation and understanding of reality significantly.

It is my earnest wish that this knowledge forms a sense of intrigue and excitement within you about your inherent potential and capabilities. Embrace your divine role as a creator and appreciate your mind as an incredibly powerful tool. Everything you need is already within you, and the world around you serves as a tangible mirror, offering guidance throughout your journey.

  • Soul Mirror Oracle is a tool and framework for self-reflection, to inspire and teach the practice of inner reflection using the outer world as a soul mirror. The cards can be used as emotional prompts or for general oracle card readings, to access messages from both your guides and your inner compass.

Each card presents a theme and two perspectives: one which comes from fear and one which comes from love. If the theme triggers fear, you can flip this perspective into love and untie the knot that resides within. If you recognise in yourself the love shown on the card, give thanks — you are in a state of flow and living life in its most fulfilling form. These cards also serve as a gentle reminder that love can shift to fear if not nourished, so take time to appreciate what comes forth, in all its loving glory.

  • Mirroring is a form of self-reflection, fast-tracked by seeing your lessons reflected by the external world — in everyone and everything. Mirroring involves being conscious of yourself from a third-person perspective. Watching your emotions, behaviour, language, actions and energetic exchanges from the point of view of all that resides outside of the self.

In practising mirroring, you will become conscious of how a person—their words or actions—the environment, a situation, or anything else external makes you feel internally. These external encounters will tell you something about yourself through the reflection they offer. Whenever your energy shifts from its happy medium, it will illuminate something that wants your attention to learn, work on or let go of.

When you are in a free-flowing state, this signals harmony and balance, and that you are in your truth, aligned with loving energy. Anything that tips towards fear is a misalignment or internal ‘knot’. This highlighted discomfort is a golden thread of significant information in which you can catapult off; work on, heal and grow.

  • Meet Emily, a successful advertising executive, always brimming with charisma and energy. Recently, however, she started to notice a recurring pattern. Every time she had an interaction with her new colleague, Ben, her mood seemed to plummet. She couldn't understand why this was happening, as Ben was polite, professional and also well-liked within the team.

One day, during a team meeting, Ben raised a point that contradicted Emily's proposed strategy. As he respectfully presented his counterpoint, Emily noticed a familiar sensation: the sinking feeling in her stomach, a tightness in her chest. But instead of reacting defensively or feeling frustrated, she consciously stepped back and observed her emotional reaction.

It was then that she realised her negative feelings weren't about Ben; they were about her own fear of having her ideas challenged, a vestige from her childhood, and early career days when a crucial project she lead had failed. Emily realised that Ben's confidence and assertiveness mirrored her own past insecurities and fears of failure, and that made her uncomfortable.

Having gained this insight, Emily took it as an opportunity to work on her fear. She began consciously welcoming opposing viewpoints, understanding they were not personal attacks but opportunities for growth and improvement. She even started mentoring Ben, fostering an environment where open discussions and brainstorming were encouraged.

Over time, Emily noticed her energy around Ben, and in meetings more generally, had significantly improved. She had taken a situation that once made her uncomfortable and used it as a catalyst for personal growth, enhancing not only her professional skills but her emotional wellbeing. In fact, she found that she felt more balanced, in harmony, and aligned with her authentic self.

This was Emily's mirroring in action: recognising an external situation that stirred her internal world, using it to discover something about herself, addressing it and ultimately, achieving growth and alignment with her authentic self.

  • It’s important to recognise what is yours and what is not yours to heal, within the boundaries you create. Sometimes the healing or lesson are not in the situation itself, but your reaction to it. Remember to listen to your body’s natural divination system to guide you, using this deck as a tool to help connect and reconnect the bridge to self.
